Vivian Mayte Santos is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, California. She has a multitude of interests and hobbies, always looking to branch out and try new mediums which helps her refine her skills. She has experience with producing artwork in various mediums such as digital and hand drawn illustration, oil painting, collage, relief printing, screen printing and ceramics, just to name a few. With every new medium she picks up it allows her to take on new challenges and discover how they can be used to create individual pieces that stand alone or together to inform each other as a cohesive body of work. Vivian's artwork is a reflection of her inner imaginations and abilities as an artist. Topics that influence or are incorporated into her work are social justice, her own culture and pop culture. Other times she might have no influences at all, and creates something for the sake of creating. In 2021, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from California State University Long Beach. Now, she returned back to California State University Long Beach to pursue a Teaching Credential for Art which will allow her to teach Visual Arts to students in Kindergarten through high school.
